Student of the Month - December 2018 (Ethan Stallman)

Ethan Stallman is a 17-year-old junior attending Fountain Fort Carson High School. Track is Ethan’s number one passion and he’s always loved to run.  He is currently involved in indoor competition through USA Track and Field.  In the Spring, he will transition to the varsity outdoor track and field team at school.  For the past eight years, Ethan also played football. While taking a break from football last season, he discovered a new calling for cross country and competed in the Regional Championships.

Besides sports Ethan loves school.  Currently, he is taking AP Physics and a College class, CSU-US History, which is his favorite subject. Ethan’s main area of concentration is world history.  He enjoys learning how societies functioned, people interacted with each other, governments were run, and about the cultures of countries far away.

While excelling at school, Ethan also works part-time at Chick-Fil-A. He loves to spend time with family and go shopping for shoes. Ethan strives to be like his mother.  She has instilled a strong work ethic, willingness to help others, and the importance of academics.

In the future, Ethan hopes to earn a track scholarship and attend the University of Northern Colorado (UNC), where he plans on majoring in Biochemistry with goals of becoming a Physician’s Assistant.
