Gabrielle Jenkins is a sophomore with a 3.4 GPA at Vista Ridge High School.  As the successful owner of Prints by Gabby, this young entrepreneur is on the move!   Her love of fashion inspired her to create a business that specializes in designing custom clothing for her customers.   Gabrielle’s parents have taught her that she can do anything with hard work and faith by her side.  After high school, she plans to attend a local college and major in business administration with an emphasis on marketing or communications.

Gabrielle loves being exposed to new learnings. Her favorite school subject of history.  She appreciates the knowledge she has gained by immersing herself into the various lessons.   Gabrielle’s desire is to live a joyful and carefree life.   She achieves this state of mind by playing volleyball and singing.  These activities enable her to express herself in ways she never thought possible.

Having two parents as mentors, Gabrielle understands the importance of contributing to the community.  Her mom operates a non-profit called Kingdom Builders Family Life Center. This organization  helps women and children affected by domestic violence.  Gabrielle is always ready to support her mom in any way possible.  She has also assisted with providing backpacks to those in need, helping to feed the homeless, and assisting to find lodging for those without shelter.

Gabrielle has attended the AAYLC for two years.  Not only does she enjoy participating in a fun learning environment, but she has also gained practical skills that she uses every day.
