Welcome to the African American Youth Leadership Conference (AAYLC). Before proceeding with the registration process, please carefully review the following terms and conditions:
Liability Waiver: By completing the registration form, you, as the student or parent/guardian, consent that you or your child's attendance and yours if you are also completing for yourself and planning to attend at the 2025 AAYLC is voluntary. You hereby waive and release the AAYLC organization, along with its volunteers, from any and all liability arising at law or in equity from injuries or death resulting from you or your child's participation in the conference.
Food Allergens: The food served at the conference may contain or come in contact with allergens such as gluten, nuts, milk, soy, or eggs. If you indicate any dietary restrictions on the registration form, the parent/guardian and child agree to assume responsibility for monitoring which foods are safe to consume. Alternatively, you may choose to provide your child's own breakfast and lunch to ensure their dietary needs are met.
Media Release: By participating in the AAYLC, you convey to the AAYLC organization all rights, title, and interest in your child's name, image, voice, statements, and/or writings, including photographic images, videos, or audio recordings made by the AAYLC organization or its volunteers. These images, recordings, or writings may be posted or published on the organization's website, newsletter, marketing materials, or social media platforms. There will be no remuneration and/or compensation provided for the use of your child's likeness.

Volunteers: The African American Youth Leadership Conference (AAYLC) is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. By volunteering at this event, you affirm that you: 1) Are not currently or previously convicted of a felony or any offense involving violence, fraud, or harm to minors. 2) Have no current legal restrictions preventing you from working with youth or participating in community events. By signing up as a volunteer, you agree to uphold the AAYLC’s values of integrity, safety, and inclusivity. The AAYLC reserves the right to deny or terminate volunteer participation if any provided information is found to be inaccurate or if your actions do not align with the organization’s mission and guidelines.
By proceeding with the registration, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms and conditions outlined above and agree to abide by them during the 2025 African American Youth Leadership Conference (AAYLC).
