2nd Annual College Scholarship Workshop

Are you or someone you know looking for scholarships?  We invite all high school students, parents, teachers, and counselors to attend this special virtual event.  Our guest speaker will be Ms. Mary Williams, Director of Outreach & Recruitment from the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).  UNCF is second only to the federal government in providing scholarships to students of color with financial need.  This session will provide:
 

  • insight on navigating the scholarship application process;

  • tips to be successful in securing scholarships; and

  • ways to enjoy writing essays
     

This is a Do Not Miss Event!

30th Annual African American Youth Leadership Conference (AAYLC)
Date:  Every Saturday - January 23rd through March 6th
Time:  TBD
Location:  Virtual Workshops

The AAYLC will be hosting its Annual Conference virtually for 2021!  Due to COVID 19, our conference will be delivered in a different format.  However, we plan to provide the same quality of excellence in our programming as we have done in the past.  Beginning January 23rd through March 6th, we will provide a series of virtual workshops each Saturday, for middle and high school students. Our weekly workshop topics will include: Leadership, STEAM, College Prep, Financial Literacy, Workforce Readiness, Black History, Entrepreneurship and Personal Growth.  We are still in the planning stages of the Parent Workshop.
