Elijah Morris, an 11th-grade student at CIVA Charter School, is a creative spirit with big dreams and an even bigger heart. With a passion for movies, animation, and all things Star Wars, he hopes to pursue a degree and future career in film and animation. When he isn’t dreaming up his next creative project, you might find him singing, drawing, playing sports, or creating his own Star Wars-inspired stop-motion movies.

And Elijah knows how to shine on stage! As a sophomore, he was one of only three teenagers selected to sing with the Colorado Springs Chorale alongside the Philharmonic during its Christmas concert. Now, as a junior, he is continuing to challenge himself as a member of CIVA’s honors show choir.

But what makes Elijah truly stand out is the way he uses his talents and heart to serve others. He volunteers with children’s ministry at his church, has helped with Backpack Bash to provide new backpacks to families in need, and has volunteered with kids’ camp since seventh grade.

Elijah was selected to represent CIVA because of his leadership, commitment to learning and excellence, perseverance, and kindhearted approach to his peers. His journey is a powerful reminder that challenges do not define our future—our courage, creativity, and determination do.
