The African American Youth Leadership Conference (AAYLC) is created for students—and we believe students should have a voice in shaping it!

The AAYLC Student Advisory Committee gives students the opportunity to share their ideas, perspectives, creativity, and experiences to help make our annual conference even more meaningful, exciting, and relevant to today's youth.

As a member of the Student Advisory Committee, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Share ideas for workshops, speakers, entertainment, activities, and conference experiences.

• Tell us what topics matter most to students today.

• Bring fresh perspectives and creative ideas to the planning process.

• Help us make the conference more engaging and meaningful for youth.

• Work alongside other students and community leaders.

• Build leadership, teamwork, communication, and planning skills.

• Make a real impact on an event designed to empower hundreds of young people.

We're looking for students who are creative, curious, enthusiastic, and ready to share their ideas. You don't need previous leadership experience or a long résumé. Your perspective is valuable simply because it's yours.
