• Believe in the mission and vision of the AAYLC

• Are committed to supporting youth and strengthening the community

• Bring relevant professional, leadership, financial, fundraising, marketing, legal, educational, nonprofit, or community experience

• Are willing to actively participate in meetings, events, committees, and organizational initiatives

• Can serve as an ambassador for the AAYLC and help expand its reach

• Value collaboration, accountability, integrity, and service

Board Member Commitment

Board service requires active participation. Members are expected to attend scheduled meetings, provide their expertise, support fundraising and outreach efforts, participate in key events, and help advance the organization’s goals.
