Crown Scholar - June 2026 (Mackenzie Woolfolk)

Mackenzie Woolfolk is a recent graduate of Rampart High School who has distinguished herself through academic achievement, athletic excellence, leadership, and community service. Graduating with a 3.8 GPA, Mackenzie will attend Colorado College this fall, where she plans to major in Business while pursuing studies in Human Biology, Kinesiology, or Biochemistry as she works toward her goal of becoming an Anesthesiologist Assistant. Driven by a passion for helping others and a commitment to lifelong learning, Mackenzie has consistently challenged herself to grow both personally and professionally while making a positive impact on those around her.
Mackenzie’s journey is a testament to perseverance and determination. From overcoming a shoulder injury to earning a volleyball scholarship opportunity and serving as captain of her varsity volleyball team, she has demonstrated resilience both on and off the court. Her leadership helped guide her team to an outstanding season, finishing first in the CSML and fifth in the state. Academically, she surpassed her own expectations, achieving goals she once thought were beyond reach and graduating with honors.
Beyond her achievements, Mackenzie is deeply committed to serving others. Through organizations such as Care and Share, Pikes Peak United Way, FBLA, ECOC, and her mentorship program, she has consistently invested in her community. Perhaps most inspiring is Temi Smile, a nonprofit she co-founded with her mother to provide menstrual hygiene products and education to girls in Nigeria, helping improve health, dignity, and educational opportunities for young women.
Guided by the encouragement of her mentor, Stephanie Mijo, Mackenzie has embraced every opportunity to grow, lead, and serve. As she prepares to attend college this fall, she carries with her a commitment to excellence, compassion, and empowering others. We are excited to see all that she will accomplish in the years ahead.
